UK China Trading was born out of twenty years of searching for quality weapons for martial arts practice. The UK never had an abundance of quality Chinese swords and even the poor quality ones that were available were very highly priced. Over the years these prices have come down due to competitive pressure but the quality never met our expectations.

Over the years we have travelled far and wide to find the "ideal" weapons for use in our own practice, once we came across the Heng family swords we felt that we had finally found something very special. The difference a hand crafted sword made over one which was machine stamped was amazing. So naturally we bought a couple of these back for ourselves.

On later trips we started bringing back swords for friends and fellow practitioners and now we are having to import them to meet the demand from other students and collectors.

We have a great relationship with the current Heng Master - Heng Qi Tong, which allows us to have these items made for us with special attention to quality while keeping the prices at a level where we can still import them.
