The "Wu Fu Jian" or "Wu Fu Sword" is constructed to the same exacting standards as the "Tai Chi Sword" but is slightly shorter in length. This often appeals to tai chi practitioners who find the length of a standard tai chi sword to be too unwieldy.
"Wu Fu" means "lucky" but is also a homophone for "five bats" so the Wu Fu sword has been inscribed with five bats on the hilt and scabbard of the sword to convey luck onto the user.

We've managed to add some more photographs and details on this sword, this was difficult for a while as they seem to go out the door quicker than we could get hold of a camera.
The blade construction is the same as the Tai Chi Jian the hilt and scabbard are made from a much darker wood than either the Jian or the dao.
