The Ba Gua sword was originally created in the Tang Dynasty (618 – 907), and used by a Taoist Master.

This blade is made from Damascus pattern-welded steel, and the special texture and moon shape at the top of the sword is designed for withstanding weapons; the scabbard is made from rosewood.

This weapon is the pinnacle of sword craftsmanship the multiple layers of patterning can be clearly seen in the concave structures on the blade. Each of these swords takes over a year to make and can only be attempted by the most experienced craftsmen.
